This is my favourite time of the year when I get the chance to care for your roses by giving them a hard prune so that they come back looking healthy and beautiful.
I know that I have moved to doing light summer prunes in the warmer months but when the weather starts to cool down, this is the best time to really take the time to care for your roses in a big way.
Whether you have 1, 2, 5, 10, 30 or more roses I will come and look after them for you. At this time of the year, I will prune your roses back and check them to make sure they are disease and pest free. I also spray your roses and at the right time I will also give them fertiliser. Sometimes I may leave the fertiliser with you, but for others I will return in approximately 3 weeks after to put fertiliser down.
It is also a good time to check your roses for aging. Please remember that not all good things last and that includes roses. If your roses look like they are aging, I will tell you.
With it being that time of the year to prune your roses, an email will go out to my clients who have signed up to receive emails to remind you to book a time slot. I am taking bookings for June, July & August.
