There are just some things that I won’t disclose to some clients. I will talk about my love of roses, I will talk about different diseases and pests, and I will tell you about the fertiliser and sprays that I buy from the nursery to use on your roses.
However, if I develop a solution to a serious pest problem and I make up that solution to spray on your rose leaves I will not give you the full method of how to create that. It’s not something that I am prepared to do as it is a preparation that I have developed and know that it works.
I will tell you about it, but I won’t disclose how much of each item goes into that solution. I will tell you that it is often a better solution compared to the toxic remedies available.
I love to share my knowledge but there are some things that need to be kept to myself, or I give away too many things that I have learnt over time.
Chilli thrip has been in Perth for a very long time and it affects roses during the warmer months especially and it has taken some time for me to find a solution that works. Having said that, you must keep on it to keep Chilli thrip at bay. If you leave it, it won’t go away until it is flushed away, or the weather gets a lot cooler.
It’s not about keeping secrets; it’s keeping my solutions and the makeup of that solution to myself. It’s protecting the solution I have created to myself so that no one else will claim that solution for themselves.
Please don’t be offended if I choose not to tell you what makes up my spray to get rid of Chilli thrip.
